About Us
Welcome to our mountain world!
On the mountain slopes of Hamra, located in the southern mountain range in Tänndalen, our design i created. We’re inspired by the constant changing of the mountains, where the shifting light and seasons creates both calm and dramatic landscapes. Fjelltopp is our homage to the mountain world we love and surround ourselves with. And with our design we want to convey the feeling of calm and freedom that the mountain gives.
Our story
Fjelltopp is founded by Emeli and Mathias, were the idea for Fjelltopp grew for many years with countless trips to the Swedish and Norwegian mountain world. The great love for the mountains created a strong desire to create contemporary design that pay homage to the mountain world, something we experienced was missing.
After an intensive decade at various design agencies in Stockholm, working with some of the world’s leading brands, the dream of another life in the mountains finally came true. In the spring of 2018, we left the big city and moved to a small village in the Swedish mountains called Tänndalen – and Fjelltopp went from dream to reality.
Craftmanship & Quality
All of our design is created by us in our small studio in Tänndalen, located in the Swedish mountains. We place great value on the craftsmanship and on every single detail, from the first sketch to the finished product.
We gather all the inspiration from our surroundings and other mountain worlds that we visit. From the seasonal color changes to the structures and the open spaces. We are inspired by the contrasts between the landscaped ski systems and the wild, albeit soft and sometimes harsh nature of the mountains. Fjelltopp is our interpretation of the mountain world we love and surround ourselves with.
